The beginning of the activity

Activity development

 An entity that includes all elements of implementing safari trips has been established under the name of the Red Sea Safari Association, after the events of the Taba bombings, as an umbrella for safari companies and Bedouin camps and registered under No. 179 on 27/11/2004 in the Directorate of Social Solidarity in accordance with the provisions of Law 84 of 2002 regarding private associations and institutions. (Motorcycle companies + pocket companies + Bedouin camps).

The Safari Association is affiliated with the Tourism Department at the Governorate General Bureau, so that the Tourism Department issues permits for the activity.

– The plots of companies were designated as a starting point for the mountainous regions, and this launch ports were allocated for the Hurghada sector.

– As for the rest of the safari sectors in (El Gouna – Safaga – El Quseir – Marsa Alam), the safari work is done in the same way as it is done in the Hurghada area, as well as the Bedouin camps that do their work by receiving tourists from the starting areas of each hotel located in these areas.

** Note: The Roads Security and Criminal Research Department and the Tourism Police insure tourists from the starting area to the Bedouin camps and back.

The purpose of establishing the association: –
All companies and safari offices operating in the activity are grouped under one umbrella, the Red Sea Safari Association.
Discussing and solving problems facing safari and casual companies, and working to find appropriate solutions for them.
Searching for radical solutions to face price fluctuations for the various trips of the safari.
Coordination with all government agencies and start up for the benefit of the members of the Safari Association.
Coordination with all security agencies at the governorate level (Hurghada – the entire south) to protect the activity.
Medical insurance for tourists: –

Where the Red Sea Safari Association coordinates with Red Sea Hospitals (such as Red Sea Hospital, Al-Masry Hospital and Alpha Hospital) for medical insurance for tourists inside and outside the desert region in addition to an equipped ambulance vehicle of the Ministry of Health.
